A quick note for this weekend to inform you or remind you of an initiative of the Foundation Sommer .
"To promote the activities of animal mediation and encourage such initiatives, the Foundation Adrienne and Peter Sommer decided to launch a contest in 2009 to award prizes to students of the social sector who have treated this subject in their dissertations study.
Submissions shall cover the following areas:
• Mediation animal populations with disabilities (all disabilities) and / or elderly,
• animal mediation with public diffi culties (homeless fi xed, Judicial Protection of Youth, in prison, Child welfare ...)
• activities involving animals in or out of institutions: the regulatory and / or legal. "

The contest is open, more particularly, to students (Level 3 and Level 4 - see list below) in IRTS training schools or social workers with the defense end of study took place in 2009, and whose notes memory is equal to or greater than 3/5 (or 14/20) to the new notation system).
The three winners will receive a prize of 800 euros.
CAUTION: The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2009.
