Third time ... A new conference on the therapy with the horse (TAC) to announce ...
This conference will be held on December 3rd (originally scheduled for June 11) to Bouvron in the region of Nantes. It is organized by the Specialized Hospital (CHS) of Blain in partnership with the Association Horse Emoi and with the support of the Research Group for Studies in Psychiatry and the Pont-Rot (GREPPP). It is entitled:
The horse as a partner in care: a specific accompaniment of mental illnesses in a therapeutic space "other" |
The history of the care of the horse CHS Blain began in the early 80s. The institutional interest in this therapeutic activity has never denied, and materialized by the structuring of a functional unit within a specific mechanism of therapeutic activities ("Intermed '"). There are multiple approaches to the use of horses and ponies for therapeutic purposes in residential care in adult psychiatry in both child and adolescent psychiatry. This conference will focus on deepening the knowledge about this specific treatment, time for meetings and exchanges, the day will be structured around interventions by various professional care and help with the horse, providing a theoretical ( the morning), and five workshops promoting the sharing of experience (the afternoon).

This conference, in my opinion, complements the one organized by the June 18 Foundation Sommer (see our post of April 20). It will mainly deal with the therapeutic aspect of mediation horse and address very specific topics of therapeutic support. Stakeholders have a great practice of therapy with the horse; exchanges and topics will most certainly very rich ...

Hello, I am a nurse at the medico psychological regional detention center of Nantes and the juvenile prison, now a workshop we practice "horse" in the detention center.
An equestrian center offers eight horses on site for mediation of H 2 per week for 5 weeks.
I love dévelloper my knowledge in this area, I practice riding for 20 years, I've educated my horse on ethological methods, and I am convinced of the interest that comes with a therapeutic horseback.
I'm unfortunately not available to attend the conference from 11 June to Bouvron, Is - Can I have a report of this conference?

I am a psychiatric nurse in Rennes and I think the conference is canceled and postponed in December (info from yesterday perhaps to be confirmed). By cons there is an association in Ille-et-Vilaine, which could perhaps be useful to you: Equidicap Association. They offer training days often on the side of Redon. Unfortunately there is no website.
