Condemned ... and elephants to the circus in France?

The One Voice Association is launching a campaign to pressure after having set up a Committee for the Abolition of Slavery elephants.

"Unlike other European countries, France still has many captive elephants in circuses, including Samba, for that One Voice has been fighting for several years, is part. These animals are forced to run the numbers against nature and live locked up, often in the greatest solitude. The example of the elephant Samba, whose recent observations have revealed that she had no defenses and that it came out of his trailer for his number - is ten minutes, 2-4 times a week - is based One Voice sadly indicative of the hard life of captive elephants in circuses. If these elephants are the last to suffer - their capture and trade is banned, they can be replaced - it is nevertheless possible to put an end to their ordeal by providing a peaceful retreat, as suggested by the association. L The objective of the Committee for the Abolition of Slavery elephants is to implement a campaign to lobby politicians and the owner of Samba, so that all elephants held by circuses are released. Members of sensitive animal condition will also be contacted to ask them to support the proposal of One Voice. "Extract from Press Release One Voice.
